Teacher of Mathematics

Rotterdam International Secondary School (RISS) is looking to recruit an outstanding full time Teacher of Mathematics for August 2024. The candidate should be able to deliver within the international educational sector to the full age range including Foundation Years (KS3), IGCSE and IBCP/IBDP. We are looking for a committed practitioner to deliver within an inquiry-based approach. The ability to teach other subjects is always welcome. The candidate’s English should be at a near-native level.

Full-time Attendance Coordinator and Receptionist

Rotterdam International Secondary School (RISS) is looking to recruit a full-time Attendance Coordinator and Receptionist, who is comfortable working in Dutch and English, to support the school community with all matters related to administration and communication, and management of student attendance data (Magister) on a daily basis. Starting date: By negotiation.

The candidate is expected to be the front face of the RISS school, give assistance with email correspondence, and manage requests with external stakeholders and visitors with great professionalism and discretion as expected within privacy laws. 

The individual should possess excellent interpersonal skills; be extremely flexible; a team player able to  manage stressful environments; be resilient; and be involved in the support of our student population, and the needs of our teachers and parents. The person will be fully confident with social media platforms, Google Suite, Windows Suite, and prepared to learn other digital skills to support our institution.

We only accept applications for teaching internships from the WTP from ICLON-Leiden University, SEC from Delft University and LERO from Hogeschool Rotterdam. Any other internship application from other institutes will not be considered.
