ACCESS information sessions - recruiting new volunteers

Here are the dates of the Information Sessions planned before the summer holidays (always on Tuesdays):

ACCESS is looking for international volunteers!

ACCESS is a not-for-profit organisation located in the centre of The Hague that also provides Helpdesk teams in partnerships with the municipalities of Amsterdam, The Hague, Utrecht and Leiden. Teams of international volunteers help the international community in the Netherlands by answering questions about moving to, settling and living in the Netherlands. ACCESS also provides support and guidance to internationals to help make living in the Netherlands more enjoyable and productive.

Lisa, a current volunteer, had this to say about working at ACCESS:

"After my two children started secondary school I was eager to do something for myself and my community. ACCESS volunteering seemed the perfect fit as I can offer my experience as an expat to Internationals relocating to the Netherlands. I started working for ACCESS in August this year and couldn’t have hoped for a more positive start. The team have been so accommodating and supportive. They have also boosted my confidence so much that I now feel like a professional adult again rather than “just a mum”. 2. ACCESS First Aid Courses

ACCESS is delighted to share that we are offering English language First Aid Skills Training courses starting in The Hague and Amsterdam. Open to all who would like to learn or brush up on their First Aid skills and of particular value for parents of young children. We are delighted to be able to work with Linda Malley on this project, as well as our partners at Big Ben Kids in Wassenaar, and Boezemvriend in Amsterdam. https://access-nl.org/first-aid-courses/ 

3. ACCESS Childbirth Courses 

Preparing for a birth, when far from ‘home’ and the family can be a challenge. For this reason, the ACCESS birth preparation courses were developed. For years now ACCESS has been providing birth preparation courses in English in The Hague, Amsterdam, Utrecht, Rotterdam as well as online: https://access-nl.org/childbirth-courses/.
