Announcement: New Permanent Principal of RISS

We are pleased to announce that Ms. Lani du Plessis has been appointed as the new permanent Principal of RISS. Ms. Du Plessis has been a dedicated member of the RISS community since 2008, first as a teacher, then as Head of Middle Years, and most recently as Deputy Principal and Head of Senior Years. Her deep understanding of our school, her leadership, and her commitment to our students, staff, and families make her the ideal person to lead RISS into the future.

After a careful and inclusive selection process, in which both parents and students were also represented, Ms. Du Plessis was chosen as the right person to guide RISS forward. Her clear vision, strategic insight, and strong leadership will ensure that we continue to provide an education that fosters self-awareness, curiosity, and integrity in a changing world—all while ensuring that our students can truly enjoy their youth.
